Stuart Gottlieb on U.S. Strategy toward Afghanistan and Pakistan

In a letter to the editor, Professor Gottlieb says, The Obama
administrations desire to find a middle way between all-in and
all-out in United States strategy toward Afghanistan and Pakistan
is certainly understandable. But a policy based primarily on
fighting Al Qaeda in Pakistan is fraught with peril.
