Professor Ester Fuchs, director of SIPAs Urban and Social
Policy Concentration, was reappointed to the FDIC's Advisory
Committee on Economic Inclusion (ComE-IN). The committee provides
the FDIC with advice and recommendations on expanding access to
banking services by under-served populations. FDIC Chairman Sheila
Bair said Professor Fuchs', "...insight and participation as a
representative of the academic community has been
invaluable.
